- 1992
Establishment of the Corporation de Prêt et Revenu
Run by Mr. Alphonse Tardif from its inception, the company, later named Trust Prêt et Revenu, had then been managed by Mr. Jean-Paul Tardif for over 40 years and later by Mr. Paul Tardif, our current president.
- 1996
Establishment of the Gestion de placements Eterna
Over the years, the company has developed into the financial conglomerate Eterna Financial Group, which includes Trust Eterna, Eterna Investment Management, and Eterna Insurance.
- 2008
Trust Eterna and the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program
The designation by the Quebec government of Trust Eterna as a financial intermediary authorized to participate in the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program marked the beginning of Eterna’s growing involvement in the investment immigration industry.
- 2016
Establishment of McGuire by Eterna and development of the Ireland Immigrant Investor Programme
In light of the growing demand for new European investment immigration programs, McGuire by Eterna, the Irish-affiliated company of Eterna, was established to structure Irish investment immigration products.
- 2018
Establishment in Hong Kong of Eterna International
The Hong Kong-based Eterna International distributes Eterna’s investment immigration products and B2B client relationship management worldwide.
- 2018
Creation of GCI ICAV, an investment fund approved by the Central Bank of Ireland
Acquired by Eterna in 2022, the GCI ICAV fund allows immigrants to obtain Ireland Immigrant Investor Programme – Stamp 4 status by investing €1,000,000 (+administrative fees) in an investment fund.

Launching of Eterna’s Portugal Golden Visa program
Eterna adds Portugal to its portfolio of investment immigration products, allowing immigrant investors receive the Portugal Golden Resident Permit through real estate investments.

Launching of Eterna’s Canada Start-up Visa program
Eterna is driven by its strong belief in the need for Canada to attract innovative foreign entrepreneurs, so Eterna has launched its Eterna Canada Start-up Visa Program ©.

Launching of Eterna’s Turkey Citizenship by investment program
Eterna adds Turkey to its portfolio of investment immigration products, allowing immigrant investors receive Turkish citizenship through real estate investments.

Opening of Eterna’s South-East Asia office.
